Google Dialer
UX, visual, and motion design lead for the Android L Dialer, one of the first Material Design apps.
Upon arriving at Google I was immersed in what would later be called Material Design. I helped develop the initial motion language and depth story across a number of sprints, and created some of the first iterations of how apps would transition and move following Material principles.
I was then given the opportunity to lead the UX, visual, and motion design for the Google Dialer app: a fresh new look with an all-new visual feel, refined interactions, and thoughtful transitions. We also collaborated to produce a prototype for Google I/O and the final shipping product for the Android L release.
Special thanks to the Material team at Google; an immense amount of collaboration and support across all disciplines made it a success.
