Looper
The release of portable turntables created the opportunity to bring turntablism on the go. Working with a fellow turntablist developer we wanted to create an app experience that allowed users to to easily upload their own loops or play loops from other people.
We created a few key features
We created a few key features
- The first was to allow the beat to be sped up while keeping it’s pitch so you could practice or play at any speed
- The second was to allow an automatic incremental climb of BPM so that you can start a beat slow, and the app would automatically increase the songs speed. This allowed users to build muscle memory at lower speeds and gradually increase to find their limit.
